Jensen Freeman was born in Blackpool in the UK, and spent much of his early years in the north of England. It wasn't until his family moved to the south of England that Jensen started performing for the stage. Concentrating in musical theatre and dance, Jensen went on to train in contemporary dance at Middlesex University, London whilst resident as a dancer at Sadler's Wells Theatre as part of the Lilian Baylis Youth Dance Company. Jensen has appeared in numerous stage musicals both on and off London's West End, as well as new theatre works. Jensen has continued to appear in film, television and theatre worldwide. Feature film credits include 'Layer Cake', 'StreetDance',''Season Of The Witch'', 'House Full'' The Academy Award winning movie ''The King's Speech''. Television roles have included two episodes of CBBC drama 'Oscar Charlie' a range of commercials and since 2010 various roles in the British ITV1 Drama Television series 'Midsomer Murders'. For the stage, Jensen brought the house down as the headline act at Sunday Night Live at Her Majesty's Theatre, London with his rousing rendition of Frank Sinatra as well as several roles in Musical Theatre. Jensen continues to work in Theatre, TV and Film internationally and has worked alongside some of the biggest stars in the industry. Jensen has played the role of Count Vladimir in the European tour of ''I'm Not Dracula!'' in Italy since January 2011. Jensen lives in England, UK.
As a singer, spent a year as one fifth of pop group Promise and recorded a Stock Aitken & Waterman track.As a solo recording artist, Jensen has achieved great international acclaim and to date has released six singles, as well as appearing on hit singles for Bananarama. In 2011 Jensen took on the role of Casting Director and Producer of the Operatic tour of ''D:VO - Carnival'' Jensen continues to sing opera and musical theatre. He has a black labrador called Lilly He has a car, but still not passed his driving test so it sits on his driveway until he's in the UK long enough to take a test.
